Our Mission

The division Research and Academic Career Development addresses three target groups: 

• We support the executive board of the university, the faculties and the institutes in planning and carrying out measures that foster research and career development.
• We inform and advise researchers and junior scholars on matters concerning research funding and fellowships for junior academics (Funding for Individuals and Projects), EU research programs (EU GrantsAccess / Euresearch Zurich) as well as the collaboration with business partners and implementing research results in the world of business (Unitectra).
• We are active in communicating research topics and discussing matters of academic career development. We thereby address an interested audience within and outside the university.
